HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai awarded the First Class Medal of Independence to the Electricity of Viet Nam (EVN) HCM City yesterday on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Viet Nam Power Sector's Day.
With an average growth of commercial power of 6.8 per cent per year, EVN HCM City has supplied a total output of 77.5 billion kWh in the period. On average, the corporation's revenue increased by 17.6 per cent per year, paying taxes of VND182 billion (US$8.5 million) per year in the period.
EVN HCM City has also supplied power for 20 industrial zones and export processing zones with more than 1,500 customers. — VNS
