DA NANG (Biz Hub)— The central city's Tourism Association and the Chinese province of Guangdong signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on tourism co-operation yesterday.
The MoU seeks to attract visitors to the central region of Viet Nam and Guangdong.
The central city, which has begun offering two chartered flights a week to Guangzhou, has hosted 105,000 Chinese tourists in the first 11 months of this year.
However, the Chinese province recorded only 170,000 Vietnamese tourists last year.
According to latest report, Da Nang welcomed 3.1 million tourists, of which over 730,000 were foreigners. — VNS
