HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Late last week, Binh Ha Breeding Corporation in Cam Xuyen District of the central province of Ha Tinh inaugurated the first phase of a large-scale cow breeding project.

This is a key project in Ha Tinh covering an area of 5,000 ha located at Cam Xuyen and Ky Anh districts. Total investment capital for the project is over VND4.5 trillion (over US$200 million), and it aims to develop breeding of cows in accordance with high-end standards to export and for domestic consumption.

The project is expected to create 3,000 jobs for local labourers.

This is the largest livestock project so far, implemented in Ha Tinh and will be in the high-tech agricultural zone to create a momentum to develop economic growth for the province, according to Le Dinh Son, chairman of Ha Tinh People's Committee. — VNS
