PetroVietnam Oil Corporation (PV Oil) estimated its consolidated revenue in the first half of 2019 reached nearly VND35.8 trillion (US$1.54 billion), 73.1 per cent of its target for the full year.
The corporation’s consolidated pre-tax profit reached 32 per cent of the plan for the year, equivalent to approximately VND141 billion for a year-on-year decrease of 31.7 per cent.
From January to June, PV Oil exported 5.7 million tonnes of crude oil, fulfilling 54 per cent of its annual plan.
The total volume of petroleum business in the first six months of the year was estimated at 1.59 million cubic metres, fulfilling 49.8 per cent of its plan for the year. E5 RON 92 gasoline business was estimated at 290,000cu.m, equivalent to 48.4 per cent of its 2019 plan.
The firm put its PV Oil Easy application into operation on February 6, 2018. As of May 31, 2019, it had helped nearly 600 corporate customers sign long-term contracts, supported gasoline purchases by 5,000 drivers of business customers and handled 203,138 transactions with a total output of 26,692cu.m.
This year, the firm is targeting consolidated revenue of VND49 trillion and pre-tax profit of VND440 billion. — VNS
