HA NOI (Biz Hub) ─ Chinese share prices rallied significantly while most other stock markets lost value on Wednesday.
In China, the Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index increased by 33.86 points to close at 2,343.58, and in Hong Kong, the Hang Seng Index added 84.54 points to close at 23,921.61.
In Viet Nam, the VN-Index slid by 6.8 points to close at 603.59 points on the HCM City Stock Exchange, and the HNX-Index ended 0.04 point lower at 87.71 on the Ha Noi market.
In Japan, the Tokyo Stock Exchange Tokyo Price Index fell by 4.7 points to end at 1,326.18, and the Nikkei 225 dropped by 38.45 points to finish at 16,167.45.
