HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — UBM Asia, the organiser of a food ingredients exhibition in Bangkok next month, has called on Vietnamese companies to visit the event.

Food Ingredients Asia 2013, to be held from September 11 to 13, has attracted around 400 companies from 30 countries and territories including the US and China, who will bring products such as spices and flavouring.

The fair will feature conferences on macro trends and market outlook for the industry and food safety.

There will be a session on consumer insights and innovation that will impact marketing strategies, influence consumers' emotions and thus their purchasing decisions.

Two Vietnamese companies: Golden Frog, which makes flavours for food and beverages, and Asia Saigon Food Ingredients – will participate in the exhibition. — VNS
