MTA, Viet Nam’s largest International Precision Engineering, Machine Tools and Metalworking Exhibition, will be held in HCM City from July 3 to 6, offering a forum for local and international businesses to network and learn about the latest happenings in the three industries.

The annual exhibition will have more than 380 exhibitors from 16 countries and territories, including 14 international group pavilions by the UK, Taiwan, Japan, Singapore, China, and Thailand, BT Tee, general manager of UBM Vietnam, its organiser, said.

It has again attracted market leaders such as Amada, Bystronic, Blum, Carl Zeiss, Conic, DMG Mori, Dine, Doosan, Sodick, Mazak, Makino, Knuth, Kuka Robotics, Mitutoyo, and Nikon, he said.

A start-up pavilion would be the highlight of the expo, he said.

The Multi Engineering Solutions Laboratory (MESLAB) and UBM Vietnam have announced an experimental industry collaboration to support local SMEs and entrepreneurs in the precision engineering and manufacturing sectors, he said.

It is a great opportunity for emerging local brands and companies to show off their products and services and establish new partnerships, he said.

Start-ups would be able to display their products at a low cost while still enjoying the same benefits as other companies, he said.

The event would also feature seminars and conferences organised by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), MESLAB, Lean Six Sigma Network, and CIMA Co Ltd, he said.

Tang Ming Hui, director of TAITRA in Viet Nam, said it would feature Taiwanese technologies at a seminar called “Taiwan Smart Machinery”.

The exhibition will be held at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre. — VNS
