HA NOI (Biz Hub) ― Twenty-five Vietnamese enterprises have registered to display products at International Furniture Fair Singapore (IFFS) 2014, to take place at Singapore Expo Centre from March 13-16 next year.

They include Le Khoi, Phu Tai, Ho Nai, Tan Han Vuon, Tan Phu, An Khang, Tien Hung and Saigon River, according to organisers.

The upcoming exposition is expected to be similar in scale to IFFS 2013, which attracted over 460 companies from 26 countries and helped attendees conclude contracts worth nearly US$3.6 billion.

PNY Investment Trade Service Co Ltd managing director Nguyen Thanh Hien said domestic firms showed strength in fine art products at previous events and should promote this advantage.

"Singapore, with the favourable conditions of a global economic and trade centre, will be a good point for companies eyeing global market access," he said, adding that Vietnamese products were selling well to France and Australia.

Singapore's IFFS Pte Ltd holds the annual fair and PNY is the organiser in Viet Nam. The event will be accompanied by decor hospitality technology shows.

Viet Nam is the second largest wood product exporter in Asia after China. Domestic timber product exports have reached over $2.6 billion so far this year, according to the General Department of Customs. ― VNS
