Products and innovations from a key driver of Việt Nam's growth will be on show at the biggest plastics and rubber exhibition next week.

The 12th Hanoi International Plastics & Rubber Industry Exhibition will be taking place from June 5-8, marking a new era, as HanoiPlas transitions into an independent platform exclusively dedicated to the plastics and rubber industry.

The Vietnamese plastics sector has flourished in recent years, playing a vital role in supplying critical materials across diverse industries such as electronics, textiles and consumer goods.

With increased investments, Việt Nam has become a key production hub for plastic materials, meeting the needs of major international markets.

HanoiPlas 2024 is set to focus on the remarkable growth of Việt Nam's plastics industry, with more than 200 exhibitors from 13 countries and territories, including mainland China, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Pakistan, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and the United States. On show are everything from state-of-the-art technology to completely new products.

Industry players will have a unique opportunity to inspect these developments close up across 9,000 square meters of exhibition space– the largest in the event's history.

The exhibition has been organised by the Ministry of Industry & Trade-Vinexad National Trade Fair & Advertising JSC (VINEXAD) and Yorkers Exhibition Service Vietnam, with the Vietnam Plastics Association (VPA) serving as a co-organiser. — VNS
