More than 500 businesses and 5,000 gastronomes are expected to take part in the third annual Flavors Vietnam event in Ha Noi and HCM City from January to April.
Organised by Vietcetera and Mastercard, the event comprises gastronomic activities, seeks to boost the food and beverage industry, and empower both industry professionals and consumers, according to the organisers.
Hao Tran, Vietcetera CEO, said: “Our vision for this programme is to lead to discussions and create activations about regional and global food and beverage trends, while making Viet Nam our home base. And why not? Vietnamese food is trending globally and more people are becoming curious about this destination.”
The highlights of the 2022 Flavors Vietnam will be the Viet Nam Restaurant and Bar Awards, Viet Nam Restaurant Week, Viet Nam Bar Week, Rising Chefs Challenge, and original multimedia series like Khong Cay Khong Ve and 9PM.
In 2020 Vietcetera attracted more than 26 sponsors and 300 businesses took part in the Vietnam Food & Beverage Conference and Viet Nam Restaurant & Bar Awards, fondly known as the Banh Mi Awards.
To reach as many people as possible during a trying time for Viet Nam’s hospitality industry, this year it will incorporate an interactive online component that is expected to bring in millions of additional participants. — VNS
