A direct trade meeting between Vietnamese importers and businesses from Incheon and Chungbuk provinces, Republic of Korea (RoK), will take place at Lotte Hanoi Hotel next Tuesday.
This is the first trade connection event between Vietnamese and Republic of Korea (RoK)’s businesses organised by the Korea Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA Hanoi) this year.
About 20 manufacturers/suppliers will join the event, bringing a wide range of products, serving industrial-agricultural production to daily essential goods such as fertiliser, metal cutting tools, cosmetics, fashion, nutrition food and household appliances. These products are widely used in Korea and exported to many countries.
Incheon is a central-run city and also an important trading port of the RoK. It became Korea's first free economic zone in 2003 and is one of the largest export hubs with 11 key industrial production complexes. Every year, business delegations from this city go to trade directly in Ha Noi.
Meanwhile, Korea’s central province of Chungbuk has strength in food industry. The province is also targeting to develop cosmetic, biological, transportation and information technology industries. — VNS
