HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — Vietbuild, the biggest annual construction-industry exhibition, opened on August 29 at the Sai Gon Exhibition and Convention Centre in HCM City's District 7.
Around 800 companies from 18 countries and territories are showcasing the latest products and equipment, interior and exterior decorative items, and construction materials in over 2,250 booths.
The organisers said many new green technologies are on display.
The exhibitors would have opportunities to compare notes and tie up with local businesses at meetings to be organised for the purpose, they added.
La Luk Ban, deputy general director of Phuc Khang Corporation told Viet Nam News that his company is looking for sources of cheap materials and technologies for reducing building houses in a shorter time.
At the five-day exhibition, many conferences will also be held to discuss urgent issues and the latest technologies in the industry.
Many companies are offering promotions with discounts of up to 50 per cent. — VNS
