The US' business solutions innovator Zebra Technologies Corporation said its products have been recorganised with the prestigious Australian Good Design Award in the product design category.
The three products that received the award are the CS60 series companion scanner, the ZSB Series label printer and CC600 and CC6000 customer concierge, it said.
The CS60 is designed for use in the retail, hospitality, transportation and logistics, and manufacturing sectors, with the small scanner able to switch between corded and cordless and handheld and hands-free operations depending on the users’ needs.
CC600 and CC6000 are for use in retail, healthcare, transportation and logistics, and hospitality, and are tablet-style kiosks.
Zebra’s enterprise mobile automation, or EMA50, which offers computer vision, machine learning, workflow automation, and robotic capabilities, was honored with the prestigious Australian Good Design Award Gold, given only to products, services and projects that exceed the criteria for Good Design.
Awarded annually since 1958, the Good Design Awards are Australia’s oldest and most prestigious international design and innovation awards.
The Zebra products were selected by a jury of more than 70 Australian and other designers, engineers, architects, and thought leaders.
“We are thrilled that Zebra’s products were recognised by the prestigious Good Design Awards,” Christanto Suryadarma, Southeast Asia (SEA) sales vice president, Zebra Technologies Asia Pacific, said.
“We will continue to build on our legacy of innovation and help businesses intelligently connect company assets, data and people in collaborative mobile workflows to make better decisions in real time.” — VNS
