Vietnam Airlines (VNA) and Aeroflot have signed a codeshare deal that will allow passengers making domestic and international journeys in the Viet Nam and Russia air route.
The deal with Russian airline, which takes effect today, will allow VNA passengers to enjoy flights on Aeroflots routes connecting Ha Noi and HCM City with Moscow and ones linking Moscow and other Russian cities of St Petersburg, Ufa and Krasnodar.
At the same time, passengers of Aeroflot can fly with VNA on several routes including Ha Noi-Moscow; Ha Noi-HCM City/Phu Quoc/Nha Trang as well as HCM City-Phu Quoc/Nha Trang.
Vietnam Airlines Deputy Director General Le Hong Ha said the agreement allows the two airlines to combine network strengths to enhance their presence in the regional market.— VNS
