The digital payment provider, Visa, and NextPay, a Vietnamese provider of comprehensive digital transformation solutions, on Thursday signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement for the next phase to continue promoting digital payment solutions in Việt Nam.

In the last five years of cooperation with Visa, NextPay has expanded its network of merchants to more than 150,000 points, covering all kind of businesses and locations nationwide.

By accepting Visa card payments, businesses can access a large number of domestic and international credit card customers, and allow customers to do installment payment via credit cards with zero interest. The new agreement aims to expand 100,000 new payment points in the next three years by promoting and assisting new small-and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) to accept Visa card payments.

Also at the event, NextPayofficially launched a new product named N31 known as 3-in-1 comprehensive payment solution and Tap to Phone - a technology solution to turn Android phones into contactless card payment by using a Point of Sale (POS) terminal. — VNS
