Vinpearl Phu Quoc to host Miss Beach contest

Thirty-eight Vietnamese beauties will participate in the final round of the 14th Miss Viet Nam contest, to be held in Vinpearl Phu Quoc from November 26 to December 6

HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Thirty-eight Vietnamese beauties will participate in the final round of the 14th Miss Viet Nam contest, to be held in Vinpearl Phu Quoc from November 26 to December 6.

Located on Phu Quoc's Long Beach (Bai Dai), the newly opened resort is ready to organise various activities of the contest, including the Miss Beach competition which will take place on December 2.

Phu Quoc Island district, comprising 27 islands in the southern Kien Giang Province, covers more than 593sq.km, and has a population of more than 100,000. Phu Quoc is the largest island here. Kien Giang is trying to get Phu Quoc Island recognised as a provincially run city in the future, which is another step towards turning the island district into a special economic-administrative zone.

Phu Quoc Island is a 45-minute flight from HCM City or a two-and-a-half-hour speedboat ride from Rach Gia Town in Kien Giang Province.

The Miss Beach contest will take place in the 5,000sqm arc-shaped swimming pool that faces the sea
