Hospitality business Vinpearl and aviation firm Bamboo Airways on Thursday signed a strategic partnership pact to improve the tourism sector.

The two companies will offer top-class and convenient services to customers to develop the domestic tourism sector and attract more foreign visitors to Viet Nam.

Tourists can get access to high-quality holiday packages that allow them to stay at Vinpearl’s facilities in Nha Trang, Phu Quoc, Da Nang and Hoi An and travel on modern, highly-efficient and comfortable planes of Bamboo Airways.

The two companies will also launch new international routes to explore overseas markets in Australia, Japan, South Korea, Russia and China.

Vinpearl and Bamboo Airways are working on setting up an international golf tournament in Viet Nam as they want to offer customers additional options and improve their brand images.

The partnership is expected to encourage other aviation-tourism alliances to grow and to further improve the domestic tourism sector.

Vinpearl, the hospitality subsidiary of conglomerate Vingroup, is among the biggest entertainment and accommodation service providers in Viet Nam.

The company is running 45 facilities in 17 provinces and cities, including 35 hotels with more than 17,200 rooms, four amusement parks, two reservation parks and four golf courses.

The aviation firm Bamboo Airways is a member of property developer FLC Group. The company is exploring 41 international and domestic routes with 28 modern planes.

The company has the highest on-time rate in the aviation sector with 94.4 per cent of its flights departing on schedule.

In 2020, Bamboo Airways plans to increase the number of all routes to 85, including 25 international routes and 60 domestic ones, and raise the number of aircrafts to 50. — VNS
