HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Vinmart, the retail chain of Vingroup, opened two new supermarkets and 10 convenient stores in Ha Noi on January 17.
The two new supermarkets are located in the Vinhomes Riverside Urban Zone in Long Bien District and the Van Quan Urban Zone in the Ha Dong District, while the convenience stores were opened in other spots across the city.
Since its opening in December, the chain has raised its total count for supermarkets and convenient stores to 25.
A Vinmart representative said the chain eventually plans to open 100 supermarkets and 1,000 convenience stores by 2017, adding that it also intends to open 20 new supermarkets and 200 news stores across the country this year itself. — VNS
