Vingroup’s Vinhomes Ocean Park has won in the mixed-use architecture category at the 2019 Asia Pacific Property Awards.
In Bangkok recently, it sailed through several rigorous rounds of international jury reviews to be chosen the best in the country.
It has schools, hospitals, shopping malls, shops, and a series of facilities seen for the first time in Viet Nam such as a gym park with hundreds of exercise machines, a BBQ park with hundreds of ovens, dozens of healthcare centres, and a children's playground.
Two focal points for the jury were a 6.1ha saltwater lake and a 24.5ha central lake with white sand on its bank like a beach.
Nguyen Dieu Linh, vice chairman of Vingroup and chairman of Vinhomes Joint Stock Company, said: “We are really happy that once again another Vinhomes real estate project has won the APPA award.
“Not stopping with being a leader in the domestic real estate market, Vinhomes has in recent years regularly made a splash in the international arena with many of its projects winning global awards."

Construction of Vinhomes Ocean Park began in October 2018. Internal roads and pavements have been built and the apartment blocks have risen to the 13th and 14th floors and the VinUni University is also being built quickly.
The central landscaped area, including the 24.5ha lake, is almost complete. Surrounding the green lake is the sand brought from Nha Trang beach, and hundreds of coconut trees have been planted to create a replica of a beach in the heart of the city.
The opening ceremony is scheduled for May 25, 2019, with a grand spectacle on the lake. — VNS
