HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Realty developer Vingroup and the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa kicked off the construction of a trading centre and administrative head office for the province on May 10.

The head office, covering 42,000 sq.m in Dong Hai Ward, will be the working place for the local People's Committee, People's Council and Party Committee. The office building, a three-block administrative zone with a 1,200-seat hall, is fully equipped to host meetings and art performance events.

The office, under the public-private partnership contract between the group and the province, cost over VND655 billion (US$29.7 million) and is expected to reach completion in two-and-a-half years.

In addition, Vingroup started construction on a Vincom Centre spanning 40,000 sq.m in Dien  Bien Ward, that includes a shopping area, commercial centre complex and a 33-floor 5-star hotel. — VNS
