VietStar to collaborate with Tricor Axcelesia

VietStar Training and Consulting Joint Stock Company and Tricor Axcelasia, a regional strategic business advisory firm which is part of the Tricor Group, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on their collaboration in the future.

Pursuant to the MOU, the two sides will establish consultation collaboration to promote corporate governance with best practices and provision of consultation on Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) strategy development appropriate in the era of sustainability business.

They will also establish and strengthen ESG policies and practices, internal control assessment and business process improvement.

In addition, VietStar and Tricor Axcelasia will also collaborate to provide consultation on promoting foreign investment into Viet Nam as well as Vietnamese investment into ASEAN countries. The collaboration will provide foreign enterprises the best preparation related to the local market as well as policies and procedures before investing into Viet Nam.

Furthermore, they will help Vietnamese enterprises better understand ASEAN markets to facilitate successful investment.

The two partners will provide enterprises with investment promotion information in 22 markets that Tricor Axcelasia works in.

“In parallel with investment promotion, we strongly believe that the MOU signed with Tricor Axcelasia will contribute to support Vietnamese businesses improve their Governance, Risks and Compliance (“GRC”) capability and develop ESG strategies appropriate in the Era of Sustainable Business. ESG plays an important role as a lever for business transformation, a foundation for businesses to achieve the goal of sustainable development and international integration,” said Pham Thi Thu Hang.

In February this year, VietStar and Singapore Management University (SMU) signed an MOU in the presence of Vietnamese President Nguyen Xuan Phuc as well as senior leaders of Viet Nam and Singapore.

The partnership aims to hone the management and leadership capability of leaders and managers in Vietnamese enterprises, and share best practices in corporate governance and digital transformation.
