HÀ NỘI — Xanh SM has launched a new food delivery service, Xanh SM Ngon, in Hà Nội, adding to its existing electric vehicle-based transport offerings.
The company said the service began with a network of over 2,000 partner restaurants and plans to expand nationally.
The platform emphasises food safety and consistent service. Participating restaurants must meet hygiene standards and prepare meals that match advertised images. Orders are delivered directly from restaurants to customers without combining multiple deliveries, which the company says helps preserve food quality.
Delivery speed is another focus. Drawing on its existing ride-hailing infrastructure, the company hopes to shorten wait times, particularly in urban areas.
Customers placing orders of at least VNĐ50,000 (US$2) may receive discounts ranging from VNĐ20,000 to VNĐ90,000, co-funded by Xanh SM and restaurant partners. Promotional codes and subsidies are also offered depending on the time of day, menu item, or user group. Payment through e-wallets or bank cards may provide additional discounts.
Xanh SM Ngon is the latest product by GSM’s all-electric platform, which already includes car, bike and express delivery services. The company has also expanded into several other Southeast Asian markets.
Industry research by Mordor Intelligence in the first quarter of 2025 placed Xanh SM as the leading provider in Việt Nam’s four-wheel ride-hailing segment. — VNS
