HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — VietJetAir has introduced its 16th route, connecting Vinh, the birthplace of Uncle Ho, and Da Lat, the City of a Thousand Flowers.
"We are excited to launch the Vinh-Da Lat route and offer more air travel opportunities to bridge the two major tourism cities in Viet Nam," the airline's business development director Desmond Lin said.
On the occasion, to attract visitors to the city, the airline also sponsored three important cultural events: the launch of the 2014 National Tourism Year with a focus on the Central Highlands, the 120th Anniversary of Da Lat, and the 5th Da Lat Flower Festival, he stated.
With three flights per week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, the new route offers 1,080 seats per week and is expected to meet the travel demand. The Vinh-Da Lat flights depart at 8:05 a.m. and reach the destination at 9:35 a.m. The return flights from Da Lat depart at 10:10 a.m. and arrive at 11:40 a.m. —VNS
