NGHE AN (Biz Hub) — VietJet's ten millionth passenger arrived at this central province's Vinh City on Saturday, marking a milestone achievement for the airline after only three years of operation.

"Vinh International Airport boasts excellent facilities and an attractive, modern design that will facilitate growing transportation demands for Nghe An Province and contribute to the economic development of the whole north central region," said VietJet's business development director Desmond Lin during the celebratory event.

"For the future, VietJet is committed to adding routes and boosting the flight frequency of existing flights to Vinh City to meet increasing travel demand. Our HCM City-Vinh connection has already facilitated tourism and trade growth between both destinations. Meanwhile, we are delighted to have flown 10 million passengers and look forward to flying millions more in the coming years," he added.

"I chose to fly with VietJet as I had read about the airline's new modern aircraft, reasonable prices and flexible flight schedules. As VietJet is now expanding its flight network across Viet Nam and the region, especially to major destinations in South Korea, I will book all my business and tourism flights with the airline," Kang said.

To celebrate its achievement of flying 10 million passengers, VietJet is also running a daily promotion on all domestic and international routes. —VNS
