HCM CITY - Passengers flying to Hue City with Vietjet will have a chance to experience riding in a Vietjet hot-air balloon at no charge in the 9th Hue Festival, which will take place from April 29 to May 4.
The Vietjet hot-air balloon will represent Viet Nam at the International Hot-Air Balloon Demonstration 2016, where it will be joined by eight other countries: Great Britain, the Netherlands, India and Japan, as well as Korea, Thailand, Malaysia and the Philippines.
Passengers need to present their Vietjet boarding pass to get free access to the balloon on May 4-5 in the Ham Nghi field in Hue, the airline said in its statement.
Besides staging a demonstration in Viet Nam, Vietjet's hot-air balloon will be the country's representative in other participating countries, making an appearance in Taiwan in July 2016, Japan in September and October 2016, Malaysia in March 2017 and the Philippines and Thailand in April 2017.
