Customers who open term deposits worth a minimum of VND100 million (US$4,300) at Vietnam International Bank (VIB) will have the chance of winning gifts valued at up to VND2.5 million.
These 30,000 gifts totalling almost VND5 billion are under the bank’s newest promotional programme launched on Monday, running until June 30.
Customers who open deposits both online and at the bank’s branches nationwide with at least a six-month term are eligible, VIB said in a statement.
Ho Van Long, VIB Deputy CEO and Head of Retail Banking–Core Business said he believed all depositors wanted a reputable and safe bank with competitive incentives.
“What we have done to improve our operation and develop products, services and promotional campaigns is to better meet these customers’ expectations,” he said.
Earlier this month, VIB said it has targeted earning pre-tax profit of VND3.4 trillion ($146 million) in 2019, up 24 per cent year-on-year.
The bank’s total assets are expected to reach VND182.9 trillion while its total lending balance will hopefully amount to VND136.5 trillion by year-end.
This year, the bank plans to increase its charter capital to VND10.9 trillion and to list shares on the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange. — VNS
