UNIQLO, the Japanese apparel chain, has announced its expansion in Hai Phong, with plans to open its first store in AEON MALL Hai Phong Le Chan this summer.
The Japanese brand will begin recruiting local talent as it prepares to open its store in one of the region's most exciting, high-growth cities.
Hai Phong, the main port city of northern Viet Nam and a commercial and industrial centre, is one of the most populous localities in the country.
AEON MALL Hai Phong Le Chan is the largest Japanese shopping centre in Hai Phong, providing a full range of products, food and entertainment services and a variety of modern facilities.
The new store will span an area of nearly 2,000 square metres, offering customers a full line-up of products for men, women and children.
"Two years with two cities, and 10 stores, for UNIQLO this is a remarkable journey for us thanks to the continuous strong support from customers and local communities. Our entry into Hai Phong is the next exciting milestone for everyone at UNIQLO Vietnam," said Osamu Ikezoe, chief operating officer, UNIQLO Vietnam. — VNS
