HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — Singapore-based Tiger Airways and the Singapore Tourism Board are offering huge discounts on Viet Nam-Singapore tickets to mark the eighth anniversary of the low cost carrier's operation on the route.

A one-way ticket to Singapore from HCM City and Ha Noi will be sold at VND88,000 and VND688,000 respectively from June 3 through June 9 for travel between October 9 and November 30.

"Viet Nam is one of our top 10 performing routes," Kaneswaran Avili, Tiger Airways Singapore's commercial director, said, adding that the airline plans to start services from other major cities of Viet Nam.

The carrier recently relocated to Changi Airport Terminal 2, providing better accessibility to the city for passengers and ease of connection to the train network.

Tiger flies out thrice a day from HCM City and five times a week from Ha Noi.

The STB unveiled a campaign called "eight reasons to visit Singapore" and a contest on the YourSingapore Vietnam Facebook page. — VNS
