Techcombank will conduct an Overseas Talent Roadshow in Singapore and London, the UK in July 2022. This will be the first time a Vietnamese bank has run a recruitment event outside Viet Nam.

To date, the bank has successfully attracted talents from leading international organisations who have added significant capabilities to accelerate its growth and development. The Overseas Talent Roadshow, held in Singapore on 1-3 July and in London, the UK, on 22-24 July, will mark a significant milestone in the bank’s strategy to attract high-quality talent internationally.

Talent is one of Techcombank’s three key strategic pillars – Data – Digital – Talent – underpinning its growth and transformation.

The Overseas Talent Roadshow will be conducted by Techcombank’s senior leadership, who will share information and stories about the bank’s transformation journey and its vision to “change banking, change lives," enabling every Vietnamese to “Be Greater.”

The leadership team will also meet with prospective Vietnamese candidates who want to return to Viet Nam to work and make a difference and select the best talent to join the bank’s workforce.

After initial calls and conversations, around 40 to 50 talents interested in exploring the opportunity to move to one of the highest growth markets in the world are expected to join the Overseas Talent Roadshow in person.

These talents are successful and experienced mid-career Vietnamese oversea experts and managers working in various fields such as data, technology, and financial services, in Singapore and the UK.

Techcombank’s representative said that these are the two markets with high-quality professionals with a strong track record from established, world-class organisations, explaining why Singapore and London were selected as the first countries for international sourcing talents.

But Techcombank shall also look to host talent roadshows in other countries in the years to come.

Once onboard, these talents will have the opportunity to build on existing experience and make positive impacts in an inspiring and enabling working environment that fosters their personal development, while contributing to the growth and development of Techcombank and of Viet Nam’s banking industry.

Addressing the importance of the Roadshow, Techcombank’s CEO Jens Lottner said: “Techcombank’s people strategy always aims to unlock the full potential of our employees and encourage their determination to 'Be Greater.'" — VNS
