Streets International, a charity non-government organisation that focuses on providing hospitality and culinary training to disadvantaged youths, held an annual fund raising dinner in District 1’s Park Hyatt Saigon Hotel on May 25 to raise funds for training activities.
The event featured dishes prepared by famous chefs and students from Streets International and auction of items such as paintings and holiday trips to raise funds.
The event was attended by around 200 participants.
Founded in 2009, Streets International has since provided hospitality professional training and shelter to more than 250 participants from 17 to 22 years old, most of whom now have jobs at 4-5 stars hotels. — VNS
