Starbucks inaugurated its first store in Hải Phòng City on Saturday, which will be its 29th coffee shop in Việt Nam.

The new store is located at 15A Trần Phú Street in a vibrant district in the northern port city. Starbucks Trần Phú marked its entry into the third city in Việt Nam, besides HCM City and Hà Nội.

“Starbucks Vietnam is proud to bring our distinct third-place experience to a new region, serving customers outside Hà Nội and HCM City for the first time,” said Patricia Marques, general manager of Starbucks Vietnam, adding that Starbucks would continue to look for opportunities to bring Starbucks Experience to more neighbourhoods.

The new coffee shops will serve Starbucks classic menu in the first month of the opening.

Starbucks opened its first store in Việt Nam in February 2013 in HCM City. It then expanded to 29 stores in Hà Nội, HCM City and Hải Phòng, with one reserve store in Hà Nội. – VNS
