Starbucks Vietnam recently opened its first store in Hoi An, making a new footprint in one of the most popular tourist destinations in Viet Nam.
Located at one of the main commuting roads leading to the entrance of Hoi An Old Quarter, the store has a stand-out presence in the neighbourhood with great accessibility and abundant space for both indoor and outdoor seating.
“Opening a Starbucks store in Hoi An, we understand the importance of culture protection, that’s why the store had been designed mostly with the wooden structure in tact to keep the original ambience of the town. We hope with this concept, customers can enjoy a cup of coffee in the perfect blend of modern and ancient – a unique experience which can only be had at Starbucks Tran Hung Dao, Hoi An,” said Patricia Marques, general manager of Starbucks Vietnam.
Conceptualisation of the store was driven by its architecture and its usage of local materials.
“All of the doors are wrapped by wood, which bring warm and classical vibes for all interiors. Even the Siren logo was made by wood and the entrance keeping the view and street theme of the old quarter,” shared Starbucks.
The store opens daily from 7h00 – 22h00 at 40 Tran Hung Dao, Cam Pho Ward, Hoi An, Quang Nam.
In 2013, Starbucks marked its footprint in Viet Nam by opening the first store in HCM City. There are now more than 85 stores in seven cities and provinces including HCM City, Ha Noi, Hai Phong, Da Nang, Nha Trang, Binh Duong and Hoi An. — VNS
