Square Communications JSC, an integrated marketing communication agency headquartered in HCM City with operations across Viet Nam and Myanmar, said Hakuhodo Inc., Japan’s second largest advertising company, has become a strategic partner.

Integrated marketing is expected to be a growth field in the rapidly expanding Vietnamese market.

The partnership with Hakuhodo better positions Square Communications to cater to clients throughout Indochina as it redoubles its efforts to improve the quality of its services both to Japanese clients and to global and local customers, the company said in a release.

Specialists will be sent to Square Communications from Hakuhodo Product, a subsidiary which offers integrated production services in Japan, to share knowledge and technology in various areas.

Vo Thanh Trung, chairman of Square Communications, said: "With the decision to become a member of Hakuhodo Inc., after nearly two years of investigating and discussing, we have finally chosen a strategic partner who always respects and believes in the development direction initiated by the founders of Square Communications.

“We will actively harness the powerful competence in data management and innovative technologies of Hakuhodo Inc.’s headquarters in Tokyo to develop our capabilities to provide suitable and effective solutions to clients’ new challenges in Viet Nam and other Indochina countries.”

After starting out in 2005 Square Communications now consists of seven subsidiaries in the marketing and communications sector that provide services ranging from event/ experiential management, exhibition and interior production, engagement marketing, PR communications, digital communications and integrated marketing communications. — VNS
