E-commerce platform Shopee has recently announced many initiatives to help sellers access potential customers to unlock growth opportunities in its first sale event of the year, 15.3 Consumer Day.

It will help them accelerate digital transformation and take advantage of new opportunities by organising various activities.

It will collaborate with the Ministry of Industry and Trade to hold a series of online training sessions for sellers.

This is an initiative to support the 2022 Vietnamese Consumers’ Rights Day in March launched by the ministry and Vietnam Competition and Consumer Authority.

To equip businesses with the right tools to optimise their business, the company regularly offers and updates support programmes on a variety of channels.

For instance, ‘Shopee Academy’ (Shopee Uni) and Facebook group Starting a business with Shopee are education hubs for sellers.

Shopee Academy offers more than 700 topics and 40 basic, intermediate and advanced courses in a variety of formats like short videos, online classes and live streams from Shopee training experts and experienced sellers. This also offers a wide range of knowledge, including tips for operating before, during and after the mega sale campaign, effective customer care skills using Shopee tools, and marketing tools such as Facebook Ads, Shopee Coins and Shopee Feed.

Recently the company launched the Shopee Captain programme to support sellers in various provinces and cities, with a variety of activities from online to offline, helping sellers connect and help each other.

The company also has a support package called ‘Hunting for super deals from super shop’ for potential sellers to increase revenues through special benefits. — VNS
