Shinhan Life Vietnam donated 15 sets of computers and financial support to establish 15 Community Medicine Cabinets for Family Homes at the Hanoi SOS Children's Village on December 3.
The donation, with a total value of nearly VND300 million, is part of the company's community activities programme, aiming to create favourable conditions for children to have convenient access to education.
The Hanoi SOS Children's Village belongs to SOS Children's Villages Vietnam, which is part of SOS Children's Villages International - a non-profit organisation working in 136 countries and territories for child development. Established in 1988, it is a loving home for more than 200 orphans and children living in difficult circumstances.
“Investing in future generations is always an investment in sustainable development, bringing long-term positive effects. We hope this small support brings practical benefits to the children of the Hanoi SOS Children's Village. Under the care and love of the Family Home, the children will surely have good conditions for learning and development, becoming confident citizens, helpful to society,” said Lee Euichul, general director of Shinhan Life Vietnam.
Lee added that together with business activities, a community programme for children and young people was always an important priority for Shinhan Life Vietnam.
