Shinhan Bank supports children affected by Covid-19 in Hai Duong

Shinhan Bank Vietnam has donated VND100 million (US$4,325) through the Vietnam Children’s Fund to support 100 children suffering from the impact of COVID-19 in Hai Duong Province.

A bank spokesperson said at the donation ceremony on March 5: “We hope that, through its meaningful corporate responsibility activities, Shinhan Bank can somewhat mitigate the difficulties suffered by people in Hai Duong.”

Last year the bank’s employees did 410 hours of social work.

The bank said between 2007 and 2020 it donated VND62 billion ($2.67 million) to social causes. — VNS
