Southeast Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SeABank) has been honoured as one of the Best Companies to work for in Asia in 2023 for a third consecutive year by HR Asia Magazine.

SeABank has met the strict criteria following the TEAM model applied to major human resource markets in Asia, including CORE (Collective Organisation for Real Engagement), SELF (Heart, Mind, Soul), and GROUP (Think, Feel, Do).

In particular, the survey interviewed employees about the three criteria, and SeABank achieved very high scores, far exceeding the average level of enterprises participating in the survey, with CORE reaching 4.49 points (average 3.74), SELF 4.67 points (average 3.88) and GROUP 4.74 points (average 3.98).

The results show SeABank has succeeded in developing its corporate culture, working environment and employees' interests, including a flexible working environment; modern facilities and utilities; outstanding personnel policy with clear promotions; and an attractive remuneration and incentive regime commensurate with capacity.

As part of its sustainable development strategy, SeABank prioritises resource development and enhances employee value positioning. In particular, creating a working environment based on the bank's core values and sustainable development goals is one of the priorities in spending investment resources. SeABank employees are encouraged to express themselves and develop a spirit of cohesion, sharing through cultural activities based on the bank's core values.

In addition, since 2018, SeABank has continuously implemented the Employee Stock Options Programme (ESOP) periodically to recognise the contributions of employees to the bank's development. Up to now, SeABank has issued nearly 106 million ESOP shares to nearly 3,700 employees.

HR Asia Awards is a prestigious award conducted by HR Asia, Asia's leading senior HR magazine, to honour businesses with outstanding HR policies, attractive remuneration, good working environments and who regularly organise exciting internal activities to connect employees. — VNS
