SeABank on Tuesday officially appointed Loic Faussier as its new chief executive officer (CEO) for a two-year period.

Faussier, 50, who has master's degrees in finance and business law, has worked for more than 25 years at major financial institutions and banks in France, Hong Kong and Japan.

He has been the bank’s deputy general manager since July 2022 and was an independent director of SeABank in the 2018-23 period. He was also in charge of many important areas at the bank and made many contributions to the development of SeABank in recent years.

In Viet Nam, he was deputy general director of Viet Nam International Bank (VIB) before moving to SeABank.

The bank’s management board now has the CEO and nine deputy general directors. With the appointment of Loic Faussier to the position, SeABank has fulfilled all senior personnel roles with the members of the Board of Directors, who are all experienced personnel in many fields. This is one of the strategic steps to strengthen the management and administration capacity to strongly implement the development plan of SeABank in the coming time. — VNS
