Schneider Electric, the global leader in the digital transformation of energy management and automation, urged industries to pioneer digitalisation to optimise productivity while realising sustainability goals, and combat both climate change and energy crises at its Innovation Day 2023 in HCM City last week.
According to the Schneider Electric Sustainability Research Institute, 40 per cent of total carbon emissions still come from industry, 73 per cent of greenhouse production from energy use, and 5 per cent to 7 per cent of energy usage goes to water and wastewater.
To prevent the impact of climate change, the Vietnamese Government has introduced sustainable development policies, with green growth being one of its key pillars to achieve net-zero carbon emission by 2050.
As a result, as Vietnamese industrial enterprises all transform to more sustainable business models to combat climate change.
