Schneider Electric, the global leader in the digital transformation of energy management and automation, was honoured at the Việt Nam Leadership Excellence 2023, in the People Champion category, organised by Anphabe.

The award recognises Schneider Electric's efforts in continuously improving human resources policy and building a sustainable governance model to develop a team of talents with the ability to quickly adapt to the constant changes of the era.

“The Fourth Industrial Revolution has changed the labour market between people and machines," said Cáp Thị Minh Trang, Human Resources Director for Việt Nam and Cambodia.

"Automation and Artificial Intelligence are increasingly developing, requiring businesses to adjust policies and governance models to train digital staff with professional qualifications to master technology and stand strong with the current era.

The rapid development of the digital world has strongly impacted the human resource demands in businesses. According to research by global human resource groups, the requirements and standards for human resource quality have changed, enterprises require employees to be trained and have higher qualifications and skills to meet the standards of the industries.

The requirement for qualified talents of Industry 4.0 accounted for 63 per cent, the digital industry accounted for 49 per cent and automation accounted for 46 per cent.
