The Saigon Trading Group (SATRA) on December 30 opened a new Satrafoods convenience store at 233-235 Dinh Bo Linh Street in HCM City’s Binh Thanh District, raising the total number of its stores to 100.
The 120-sq.m store is the 26th that SATRA has opened this year in the city.
The group said it would expand its convenience store network in the Cuu Long (Mekong) Delta city of Can Tho, with the first store scheduled to open next month.
The company also plans to open 55 Satrafoods stores next year, 45 of which will be in HCM City.
Satrafoods is available in most districts of HCM City. Each store stocks about 2,500 items, mainly fresh and processed food, vegetables and household appliances.
To mark the opening of its new store, Satra is offering various promotions, including lucky scratch cards, with prizes such as Sanyo microwave ovens, fans, irons and hair dryers, among others. — VNS
