The Viet Nam country lead of French pharmaceutical company Sanofi, Emin Turan, has been honoured with the Master Entrepreneur Award at the 2022 Asia Pacific Enterprise Awards.

Speaking at the awards ceremony on October 7, Turan said it was a recognition not only for him but for all of Sanofi Vietnam.

He has been in leadership positions in many countries for Sanofi for more than 20 years.

Besides, he also held other important responsibilities, most recently as chairman of the Pharmaceutical Sector Committee of EuroCham.

His company has received an appreciation certificate from the Ministry of Health for its contribution to COVID-19 prevention in the country.

It contributed VND1.3 billion (US$56,300) to help people living in the Cuu Long (Mekong Delta) cope with the outbreak.

The money was used to provide masks and sanitisers, and help people affected by saltwater intrusion in the delta.
