Saigon Co.op, the owner of Co.opmart supermarket chain, on Thursday opened a new outlet in Gia Lai Province’s Chu Se District, its second store in the province and 90th nationwide.
Located at 912 Hung Vuong Street, Co.opmart Chu Se has a total area of nearly 1,900sq.m and total investment of more than VND50 billion (US$2.2 million).
It stocks more than 20,000 items, including fresh and processed foods, cosmetics, clothes and household utensils, 90 per cent of which are high-quality Vietnamese products.
Like all other Co.opmart outlets, this store sells price-stabilised goods. In addition, it acts as a conduit for the province’s specialties and other products to enter the Co.opmart chain.
The new outlet is offering discounts of up to 50 per cent on thousands of essential items.
In addition, customers with bills worth at least VND300,000 in the first three opening days will receive attractive gifts and take part in a lucky draw with prizes such as a Honda Lead, Samsung refrigerator, Samsung washing machine, and others.
