The FLC real estate group opened its safari park in the central Binh Dinh Province’s Quy Nhon City to visitors on Sunday.
Spread across 38.5 hectares in the FLC Quy Nhơn eco-resort complex, the semi-wild park, which officially opened on Saturday, is home to more than 1,000 individual animals and serves as a biodiversity conservation facility.
The recent launch of the FLC eco-resort complex helped attract 3.2 million tourists to the central province in 2016, a year-on-year increase of 23 per cent, said Huong Tran Kieu Dung, vice-chairwoman of the group’s board of management.
The VND7 trillion (US$311 million) complex is located on 1,300 hectares, and houses a 36-hole golf course, a 1,500-room five-star hotel, a 1,500-seat international convention centre, a marine eco-tourism zone and a wildlife park, among other attractions.
In 2016, the FLC Quy Nhơn Beach and Golf Resort won the Best Hotel Architectural Design by Viet Nam Property Awards and the Best Course in Asia-Pacific by Asia Golf Award. — VNS
