Sacombank has won two awards, the ‘Corporate Excellence 2021’ and ‘Inspiring Brand 2021’, at the Asia Pacific Enterprise Awards.

Enterprise Asia, which gives the awards, is an NGO whose goal it says is creating an Asia that is rich in entrepreneurship as an engine towards sustainable and progressive economic and social development in a world of economic equality.

The annual awards are held in 14 markets in Asia to honour corporate leaders and organisations for outstanding performance and tenacity in developing successful businesses while not neglecting the social responsibilities that come with leadership.

In 2021, despite many challenges, Sacombank maintained steady and safe growth amid its main goal of effective restructuring and achieving breakthroughs in digital banking activities.

Sacombank continues to speed up settlement of bad debts, implement new business models and roll out high-tech products and services to enhance customer experiences and satisfaction.

It also strives to constantly improve the quality and efficiency of its human resources, optimise capital efficiency and enhance risk management.

The bank has also won a number of other international awards including for Most Innovative Retail Bank in Viet Nam in 2021 and Best Digital Transformation Bank Viet Nam 2021 from the International Business Magazine, Best Bank for SMEs in Viet Nam 2021 from Asiamoney and Viet Nam Domestic Trade Finance Bank of the Year and Viet Nam Domestic Technology and Operations Bank of the Year from The Asian Banking and Finance. — VNS
