Sacombank to award more than $157k of student scholarships


Sacombank has set aside more than VND3.75 billion (US$157,553) to grant scholarships to university students in the the 2022-2023 school year under its “Sacombank - Nurturing dreams” scholarship programme.

Sacombank has set aside more than VND3.75 billion (US$157,553) to grant scholarships to university students in the the 2022-2023 school year under its “Sacombank - Nurturing dreams” scholarship programme.

Accordingly, many full scholarships, each including a backpack and VND75 million ($3,153) in cash, will be granted to students in three consecutive years (VND25 million each year) until graduation.

Candidates for the scholarship are second-year students majoring in economics or information technology at universities and colleges in HCM City and Ha Noi, and having accumulated average scores of over 6.5/10 or 2.5/4 in the sponsorship year.

During the three years receiving the scholarship, students can also participate in social activities, physical training and engagement programmes organised by Sacombank such as the Volunteer Programme, Job Fair, Potential Internship Programme, and training courses to develop skills and knowledge.

The bank will receive applications for the scholarships from now until October 15, 2022. Qualified candidates will be able to attend Sacombank Scholarship Day where they have a chance to win full scholarships.
