The Sacombank Pay app was honoured as an “HCM City’s exemplary product and service” by the HCM City Union of Business Associations at a ceremony on October 12 for meeting criteria like creative ideas, business efficiency and competitive strengths.

It is for a second time it is winning the title, affirming the bank's practical contributions to promoting consumption and the integration and economic development of the city and country.

Sacombank Pay was hailed as an app integrating advanced technologies to become a financial application that covers all features of digital banking.

Customers can use the app to conduct transactions such as transferring money, getting payment/savings accounts and payment /credit cards, applying for consumer loans, making bill payments and mobile phone top-ups, and scanning QR codes to withdraw/transfer money.

It allows people to open an account with personalised numbers and get a payment card in five seconds, and a credit card in five minutes, transfer money without remembering account numbers with VietQR, and accept near field communication (NFC) contactless payment and Apple Pay.

It has a PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) security certificate, one of the highest globally in the field of card issuance and acceptance.

The bank has obtained the certification for a ninth straight year. The app also received the Top 10 Sao Khuê Award in 2021, a prestigious award for the 10 best products and services in the Vietnamese software and information technology services industry. — VNS
