Sacombank is offering a promotion worth VND300 million (US$12,756) called ‘Nap phi khong dung – Uu dai that ung” (Top-up e-toll accounts - Get great offer) from now through September 30.

The programme is in response to the Government’s policy on automatic highway toll fee collection, and seeks to encourage customers to form the habit of online transactions since all expressways are set to simultaneously switch from manual to electronic toll collection.

Under the promotion, every time a customer deposits VND500,000 ($21,281) or more into VETC/EPASS account via Sacombank Pay, Internet Banking or Mobile Banking, Sacombank will pay VND100,000 into their account/card and customers can get this an unlimited number of times.

The daily discount limit is VND10 million, and it will be carried over to the next day if a customer does not use it all.

The VETC/EPASS top-up service helps customers quickly pay highway toll without having to wait at the collection booth, and thus maintain a steady speed and save fuel. The service is free on online channels.

Bedsides, from August 1 to October 31, Sacombank also has the ‘Khai truong ron rang - Muon van uu dai’ (Starting a new school year - Lots of incentives) promotion for individual customers who pay tuition fees through its online channels.

The promotion has a total value of nearly VND900 million ($38,334), and is applicable to all schools across the country that have a tuition fee payment linked with Sacombank. — VNS
