Sacombank has unveiled a VNĐ11 trillion (US$459.8 million) credit package for corporate customers at preferential interest rates starting at 6.2 per cent.

The programme will end on December 31 or when the amount is fully disbursed.

Of it, VNĐ10 trillion will be used for short-term loans at interest rates starting at 6.2 per cent and the remaining VNĐ1 trillion for medium- and long-term loans for business activities and buying automobiles at a minimum rate of 9.5 per cent.

The bank had recently earmarked preferential credit worth VNĐ30 trillion ($1.25 billion) for retail customers at 7.5 per cent interest to stimulate consumer demand.

It also has promotions with fee waivers and gifts for customers.

For instance, it is implementing a programme called “Trọn ưu đãi - Nối thành công” that waives fees for business account service package Business-Plus, international money transfer, payroll service, opening payment accounts with customers’ own preferred numbers, and annual fee for corporate card.

Corporate customers will receive hundreds of gifts such as Mercedes cars, iPad Pro and high-tech online meeting equipment. — VNS
