HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — Qatar Airways has been named Airline of the Year for a third time at the annual Skytrax World Airline Awards.
The award comes at a time when the airline has achieved remarkable growth with a major addition to its fleet in the last 10 months.
It also won the best business class airline seat and best airline in the Middle East awards, the latter for the eighth time.
The Skytrax World Airline Awards are widely known as the passengers choice awards with millions of travellers from 160 countries participating in passenger satisfaction surveys to decide the 2015 winners.
This year the awards ceremony was held on the sidelines of the Paris Air Show. — VNS
